environmental permitting & exemptions

If you keep, treat or dispose of waste you may require either an Environmental Permit, which is issued by the Environment Agency or Natural Resources Wales (under section 36 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990), or an exemption, again regulated by the Environment Agency or NRW.

Ceri Environmental Consulting Ltd can provide you with advice and information regarding the permitting and exemption regimes.

We can work with you to develop a strategy for your business by helping you make the right decisions, taking into account these regulatory regimes.

We will then assist you by preparing your application documents for the Environment Agency/NRW, and seeing your application through to determination.

We can provide you with a site specific Environmental Management System and Accident Management Plan in accordance with permit requirements.

We can also provide mentoring and assessing services so that your staff are technically competent.

Ceri Environmental Consulting Ltd has proven experience of liasing with the Environment Agency and NRW to obtain waste permits for clients and also ensuring that the correct exemptions are registered with the Environment Agency/NRW.
